Intergenerational Activities
Resurrection seeks to affirm intergenerationality in the life of our congregation, and is shifting programming to better align with this value. We are moving from an emphasis on separate programming for children and youth, to more integrated activities that include participation from multiple generations and ages. Activities include Themed Family Nights and Congregational Events, ranging from a Community Field Day, a Souper Bowl Party, Clothing and Book Exchanges to “Fort Night”, an intergenerational fort building competition. These activities are offered monthly and designed in partnership between the Child & Family Ministry Director and the Youth & Family Ministry Director.
