Music stands with the Word in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, and plays a central role in our liturgical life, both in congregational song and in offering appropriate choral and organ works by composers of all historical periods and representing various cultures. Our adult choir and quartet of professional soloists/section leaders are central to this role, supported by organ, grand piano, harpsichord, and other instruments. The choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and sings at the 11:00 am service weekly, September through June. Several times each year larger choral works are presented as a part of worship. A special music series, Music at Resurrection, presents a variety of musical offerings to the public and as a part of worship.
