The mission of the Committee on Memorials is to ensure that gifts received by the church in memoriam are used in an appropriate way for the work of the church. Memorial gifts serve as an expression of thanksgiving to God for the service and witness of those Christian servants memorialized. The gifts may include religious articles, property needs, office equipment, or other goods and services. The Committee is responsible for maintaining the Book of Remembrance, a permanent record of gifts, those memorialized, and projects funded by memorial gifts. The Book of Remembrance is a part of the congregation's official archives.
